XN Finance - Tools
An internal application of XN SYSTEMS, S.A.S.
What it is
XN Finance - Tools is XN Systems’ internal application for keeping the operator’s own mailboxes and financial records in order. It is used only by XN Systems’ operator, on Google accounts the operator owns or administers. It is not offered to the public and has no sign-up.
What it does
- Organises mailboxes. It files incoming mail into a consistent set of Gmail labels (finance, taxes, vendors, systems notices and so on) and archives low-priority mail such as promotions, without ever marking a message as read.
- Files financial documents. It collects bank statements, invoices and tax documents that arrive by email into the operator’s own bookkeeping records.
- Sends a weekly summary. Every Monday it emails the operator one summary of each mailbox: what needs attention, what was filed, and which new senders need a rule.
Why it asks for Gmail access
Each permission on the consent screen exists for one of the functions above, and for nothing else:
- See your email address (
userinfo.email): to confirm which mailbox a credential belongs to before changing anything in it. - Manage your email labels (
gmail.labels): to create and rename the labels mail is organised into. - Read, compose and send, and modify your email
(
gmail.modify): to apply labels to messages and archive them. The application never deletes mail and never marks a message as read. - View your email messages and settings

gmail.readonly): to read the sender and date of messages, and to download the operator’s own statements, invoices and tax documents for bookkeeping. - Send email on your behalf (
gmail.send): to send the one weekly summary, to the operator only.
Access is granted by the account holder and can be revoked at any time from the Google account’s third-party access settings.
